A New Home
Yes folks, after more than 5 years at Malpas the Club has decided it is
time to relocate to another part of South Wales.
WHERE?
The Club will now be located in the Penarth Conservative’s Club off
Stanwell Road. A venue right in the heart of Penarth, offering ideal
facilities and accommodation both for our regular club nights as well as
a larger, purpose built, concert hall ideal for our special
events.
WHY?
We took the decision to relocate based upon a number of factors, not
least the changing profile of the membership. Most regular club
attendees are based in the Cardiff/Penarth area and Penarth has the
transport infrastructure to enable others to easily make the journey
from further afield.
We also hope to grow Club membership and are confident that a more
accessible location will assist us in our promotional activity.
WHEN?
What this means for members is that, from January 2008, the Club’s
activities will be based in Penarth; full details of the venue and diary
dates are elsewhere in this newsletter.
WHAT?
What do you need to do? Nothing other than come along with you guitar.
We hope that all of our members join us in Penarth and that we continue
to attract new faces along the way.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to the management and staff at the
Gladiator in Malpas for making us so welcome during our time there.
